Golden Week.

It’s that time of the year when all the stars of having a good time align and put entire Japan in good mood.

It is a week that has 3 national holidays, perfect weather and lots of sunshine.  Leaves are green and flowers in fool bloom, enjoying the calm breeze of dry air; a kind of weather that would make a Californian jealous. There isn’t a better time to dust off that convertible and cruise around with top down.  Especially if it is a customized Lamborghini Murciélago Roadster with extremely loud exhaust and insane aftermarket rims.  

 

During a 15 minute stroll to the Gym I saw 4 Lamborghinis, 2 Ferraris, couple of Astons and God knows how many Mercedes Benzes, Mazeratis, BMW’s and Porsches.  There were also exclusive exotics such as McLaren MP4-12C and Koenigsegg CCR. 

 

Feeling left out, I headed down to Mercedes Benz Connection in Tokyo to snap some photos and have a cruise around in a Mercedes Benz SLK 55 AMG to bring first review on this Blog.

While I finish typing it up, please enjoy some photos from super-car packed Tokyo in the beginning of Golden Week, which was indeed a remarkable day for any auto enthusiast and gave this blog its title.
