Liberty Walk on Display at Fuji Speedway

When you go to an event knowing that there will be a Liberty Walk Display and car meet, expect nothing less than batshit crazy; that's the rule of thumb!

Liberty walk is enjoying incredible success around the world, as more and more people jump in the wide body bandwagon.

Motor Fan Festa not only allowed Kato-san to display usual assortment of cars in the main paddock such as the controversial Ford GT40-based Lambo Miura replica,

but a well organized owners' meet summoned over a hundred Liberty Walk cars representing all trends and markets that Kato-san's organization has tapped.

From grass root bosozoku style

To JDM

to Supercars,

with a lot to offer in between,

Such as this Dodge Challenger.

or Ford Mustang, which I didn't even know LB had a kit for, but I guess Kato-san will be happy to carve any sort of fenders you throw at him.

Here is proof that going wide doesn't automatically mean going big.  The owner of this Daihatsu Copen has proven once again that size doesn't matter when it comes to measuring coolness.

This extends to engine, where the owner definitely added plenty of fun factor to his little car.

Being a BMW fan, however, I just had to single out this E92 M3 with complete Liberty Walk kit fitted
As usual attention to detail is nothing short of staggering,

with owner choosing plenty of carbon parts to contrast the Alpne White exterior.

The front lip, also made of carbon is perfect match to the deep concave Rotiform SNA wheels
.
The deep concave wheels add a lot of character to the car

The Liberty Walk kit for E92 M3 does fantastic job maintaining cars original proportion and design features
while adding significant degree of aggressiveness and individualism.

Of course there were plenty of familiar faces, but always good to shoot against a perfectly suitable backdrop.

A couple of Lamborghini Huracans definitely spice things up

While this 280Z absolutely blew me away.

Overall, this was one amazing event and I can't wait to see what Wataru Kato and his amazing company in Nagoya have in store for us next.
